Accept the compliments
I'm enjoying another one of James Clear's quotes: 'Feel compliments as deeply as you feel insults'. But I would say, feel compliments deeply and let go of the insults, they are merely another person's opinion, and not true. Maybe that person was having a bad day, and you just happened to be in their vicinity. The aim is to feel as happy about life as possible. Do your best to not let someone else's 'grump' affect your mood or your day. :-)

This quote is from the book, Atomic Habits, by James Clear, which I'm currently reading, and I thought a lot of people could identify with this quote. More about this book in a future post when I've finished reading it.
Feeling stressed? 😰
When stressed our ‘Flight, fight or freeze’ response kicks in, when relaxed and happy we let go and are in ‘rest, digest and heal’.
